SirDavis is named in honor of Davis Hogue, Knowles-Carter’s paternal great-grandfather, who was a farmer and a moonshiner during Prohibition. 

During Davis Hogue's era in the American South, "Sir" was a term of respect reserved only for white men. Sir was added before his first name to give him his deserved respect and honor his legacy. 

SirDavis is headquartered out of Beyoncé Knowles-Carter's hometown of Houston, Texas. 

The SirDavis brand home in Houston, Texas is set to open to visitors in 2025. 

SirDavis goes through two rounds of aging. First, in American oak barrels, followed by a second maturation in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. 

SirDavis is crafted using no additives or colouring including E15OA.

SirDavis is a non chill-filtered whisky, meaning we keep all oils and esters in the liquid rather than filtering them out as some other whisky brands choose to. These esters & oils contribute to the soft and rounded texture of our whisky.
